Optical fiber ground wire (OPGW) protects high-voltage transmission lines as an aerial supporting line and is used as communications lines. Using heat-resistant silicon and heatresistant tape, the ground wire is encased in the aluminum spacer and protected by the aluminum tube. The optical fiber grounds wire twist-paired with aluminum-clad steel wire satisfies all the mechanical, electrical properties of existing aerial lines. In addition, it guarantees stable operation even under extreme conditions such as tropical storm, lightning, or any contingencies.
OPGW is mainly divided into Central Tube OPGW, Stranded Stainless Steel Tube OPGW, Central Al-Covered Stainless Steel Tube OPGW, Aluminum Tube OPGW, Lightning Resistant Central Stainless Steel Tube OPGW with compressed wires and OPPC.
All our OPGW Cable have type tested from International Independent test laboratory according to IEC, IEEE, BS etc.
